Fred Perry and Japanese brand Beams linked up for a collaborative release offering a fresh outlook on the British brand’s most classic piece.
Starting as a small shop in the Harajuku district of Tokyo in 1976, Beams has since grown into a significant retail force in Japan, as well as being internationally renowned for their approach to working with global partners.
Playing with the familiar, Beams’ design offers a new take on classic Fred Perry silhouette and their logo application.
Based on the M3600, the twin tipped polo shirts are designed to be over-sized with dropped shoulders, signed off with a repeat Laurel Wreath logo embroidery in colours inspired by tennis courts.
